This stand-up comedy competition welcomes comedians, humorists, and anyone with a knack for witty storytelling. With an open-ended theme, participants can cover topics like college life, relationships, pop culture, or social issues—bringing their unique comedic flair to the stage. Bring your best jokes, perfect your timing, and let the laughter begin!
Guidelines
- Performance Time: Each set must be 5 minutes long. Exceeding time leads to negative marking.
- Theme & Content: Open-ended topics are allowed, but humor must be appropriate, clean, and non-offensive.
- Props: Minimal props allowed; focus should be on content and comedic timing.
- Language & Conduct: No offensive language, racist remarks, or inappropriate jokes. Maintain a light and fun atmosphere.
- Introduction: Participants should submit a short bio and comedic style (stand-up, observational, dark humor, etc.) for the host’s introduction.
- Judging: Judges’ decision is final and binding.
- Registration Fee: ₹299/- per person
Event Execution & Judging
✔ The host will introduce participants with a brief bio.
✔ Volunteers will monitor time limits and adherence to content guidelines (violations result in negative marking).
✔ Performers will take the stage in a structured sequence.
Judging Criteria
📌 Originality (30%) – Freshness of material, avoiding clichés.
📌 Delivery & Timing (30%) – Execution of jokes, pacing, and timing.
📌 Audience Engagement (20%) – Connection with the audience and response.
📌 Creativity (20%) – Risk-taking with content, style, and approach.
