FIIB has adopted a cluster of 5 villages

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) is a flagship programme of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. Of India. It is an opportunity to enable faculty and students of higher educational institutions to work with the people of rural India in identifying development challenges and evolving appropriate solutions. This will accelerate the sustainable growth of villages. This programme is inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging knowledge institutions to help build the architecture of an ‘Inclusive India’. Under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan program, FIIB has adopted a cluster of 5 villages and will work with the people of these villages in identifying development challenges and evolving appropriate solutions for accelerating sustainable growth. The program entails a survey of all the villages adopted to identify key issues which require intervention and setting up of short term, medium-term and long-term goals for village development. The program involves active engagement with villagers, local authorities, district administration, and regional agencies in planning and implementation of the interventions. The program also aims to create a virtuous cycle between society and the academic system in responding to the development needs of rural India. We deferred village adoption activities under the Government's Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan Scheme due to the COVID pandemic. As we gradually open up, we plan to put all energies and commitment to positively impact the economic growth and quality of lives in the adopted villages. The following villages have been adopted by FIIB under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan: 46 S-770 Fortune Institute Of International Business (Id: S770)
