FIIB and CommonTime Inaugurate “The Art of Arts Entrepreneurship” Seminar — Pioneering Collaboration to Empower Artists Worldwide

In a groundbreaking initiative, FIIB (Fortune Institute of International Business), New Delhi, and CommonTime, a distinguished international arts education platform, have joined forces to inaugurate the “The Art of Arts Entrepreneurship” seminar. This transformative 10-week online seminar commenced on February 15th, marking the beginning of a journey to empower artists globally with essential entrepreneurial skills, business acumen, and global marketing strategies tailored for the creative economy.

The creative economy, valued at a staggering two trillion dollars, forms the backdrop for this pioneering collaboration. The seminar aims to address the pressing needs of artists in today’s market, providing them with the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate and thrive in the artistic industry.

Professor Radhika Shrivastava, Executive Director at FIIB, emphasized the significance of financial literacy and business acumen within the artistic industry, stating, “Artists deserve their fair share in the two-trillion-dollar creative economy. Through collaboration with CommonTime, we aim to equip artists with the skills and confidence to succeed in today’s ever-changing world.”

Christine Matovich, Founder of CommonTime, highlighted the global significance of the collaboration, stating, “This collaboration represents a cultural connection between New Delhi, India, and CommonTime LLC in the US and Germany. Together, we are addressing a pressing need for artists worldwide, empowering them to claim their fair share of the creative economy.”

Jeff Levenberg, Director of Course Design at CommonTime, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, emphasizing the role of artists in growing the global economy through their business acumen. “I am thrilled to be a part of this collaboration,” he remarked, “and I am confident that together, we can empower artists to succeed in today’s competitive market.”

“The Art of Arts Entrepreneurship” seminar is designed for professional and emerging artists of all backgrounds, ages, and interests. Participants will engage in instructor-led online classes, distinguishing their artistic voices, identifying ideal target audiences, navigating the global economy, pricing their work effectively, and exploring new markets.
