SOCIAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (SIP)
SIP is evident that FIIB has made conscious attempts to introduce sustainability in its PGDM curriculum and is trying to make a positive societal change by involving its students and faculty. The students engage with the Social Sector Organizations (SSO's) to work on projects that are aligned with their real needs for 15 days. The Batch undertakes projects in teams of 8-10 with specific SSO's. Each team is full-time mentored by a faculty member, and the SSO's manager. It is a graded course for the students. Success is not defined as a 100-hour volunteering but primarily defined by the usability of their recommendations in the report and an intellectual outcome. This year onwards an alignment with UNSDG's is the focus of the internship.
