May 15th, 2015
Like every year, this year also the program had a remarkable beginning at the college campus. The Welcome Evening began at the college courtyard where PGDM grads of Walton College along with their mentors were welcomed with flowers and garlands. The program opened with a delightful cultural display by FIIB-ians showcasing some scenes of the Epic – Ramayana, enacted by them dressed in ethnic clothes, stressing on honouring commitment, sacrifice and obedience in Indian families.
Students of management from Walton College took the stage with some brilliant performances like, B-boying dance, group and solo performances. They surprised the college audience by singing a very famous Indian song “Kolaveri Di”, and earned a lot of applause for that. All the management graduates from Walton College sang a beautiful song about their football team which sprinkled the sense of patriotism, love for the sport and immense enthusiasm in the environment.
The Welcome Eveningat the college campus, after all the performances, turned into dinner party where the PGDM grads from both the colleges started exchanging talks, and enjoyed the meal together. This marked the beginning of a 2-Day exceptional journey of:
- Academic Sessions by Faculty from FIIB and Walton College
- Student Brainstorming and Presentations
- Management Games and Team Competitions
- Sight Seeing and Celebrations
