FIIB-Walton College Acculturation Program Day 2 – Case Challenge

FIIB Campus, New Delhi: A day full of learning and interaction during the FIIB-Walton College Acculturation Program! Each defined team had to present an assigned case study after rigorous brainstorming, mind-mapping and mind-boggling discussions at the college campus. The Case Challenge activity was guided and mentored by Faculty from FIIB and Sam Walton College of Business, but it was thoroughly MBA student driven. Brainstorming the Harley Davidson case in the classrooms and syndicate rooms gave immense opportunities to management grads to understand each other and create team bonding. Teams not only solved the challenges but went through tremendous learning experience necessary for management.
For the Case Challenge, the entire group of 40 MBA students were divided into 10 teams. The preliminary round had 2 panels of Judges. 5 teams presented to each panel. The best team adjudged by each of the panel made it to the finals. The winner of the final face-off was the overall winner of the case analysis and presentation competition and the team won a cash prize of Rs.5000.

The Acculturation Program provided opportunities for management graduates to present their Case Challenge interpretations and solutions to the college faculty in the auditorium, and seek their expert guidance on the same. The presentations showcased some remarkable interpretations and well-defined procedures to the solutions, and this really influenced the teams and the Faculty. The full day learning experience during the Acculturation Program at the college campus, build a strong foundation for various team challenges and activities lined up for the participants.

- AuditoriumFIIB’s state-of-the-art auditorium can seat over 150 individuals and has provisions for video conferencing along with other ultra-modern technologies. Students also enjoy the provision of multiple conference and seminar halls if required.

- Knowledge Resource CentreStudents can access a fully computerized and air-conditioned library housing over 15,000 books, 195 periodicals/journals, 750 audio-visual and multimedia. The Library subscribes to major online research and informational databases.
- Outdoor GamesThe Campus also has provisions badminton, volleyball and a number of outdoor games and activities
- Recreational CentreThe recreational centre of FIIB provides its students space and opportunity to indulge in activities like indoor games and relax. The Centre is outfitted with television, student lockers and various indoor sports like pool table, table tennis, carom and chess.
